Simple But Not Easy
Many spiritual leaders emphasize the simple steps it takes to get to spiritual enlightenment. Many forget, however, what it was like to discipline themselves to study, train, and be present to all the multiple dimensions that need to be attended to as one who aspires to, if nothing more, emerge from suffering and the agony of humanness.
Like any endeavor, one needs to have passion to even start to create the dedication and discipline required to make progress. Spiritual evolution is no different. It is grueling work. The rewards, though, are so worth the effort!
