We don’t like the pain. We don’t like the emotions. We don’t like the uncertainty. So we want to do what we can to control what we believe we can control. Unfortunately, the more you experience the need to try to control the situation, the tougher it will be on you! There’s a reason for the saying, “what you resist persists!”
